Ooma Office Pro justifies its higher price tag by including call recording, a desktop app, enhanced call blocking, and voicemail transcripts. In terms of hardware, Ooma offers a range of Yealink model VoIP phones, which are regularly discounted or offered in package deals. Unlike MagicJack, Ooma doesn’t provide optional extras at further charge everything is included in the package, and if you want more features, it’s a case of paying the five bucks a month extra and upgrading to Ooma Office Pro. Ooma’s pricing plans come in two flavors: the entry level Ooma Office, priced at $19.95/month/user, and the more feature-laden Ooma Office Pro, priced at $24.95/month/user. However, a less robust selection of features and additional costs mean that MagicJack’s seemingly cheap price could quickly rise, while Ooma includes pretty much everything you might need from the off. MagicJack should be the runaway winner when you compare the monthly costs. It’s a close call between Ooma and MagicJack when it comes to value.
